Innovation
We are actively involved in the Washington State Recycling Association, Forest Resources Association, and the Washington Organic Recycling Council. We also have representation on the Mulch& Soil Council. The Mulch & Soil Council (MSC) is the national non-profit trade association for all producers of horticultural mulches, consumer potting soils and commercial growing media.
Leadership
Many of the products Swanson Bark & Wood Products produces come from reuse or repurposing materials that would otherwise be buried in a landfill, or left in the forest, creating forest fire hazards. We insure that nothing goes to waste by reusing and repurposing these materials into natural products used across the country.
